Volkswagen introduced a limited edition New Beetle Sport model in early 2001. This model offered additional features to standard such as leather sport seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, an eight-speaker Monsoon sound system, sunroof and cold weather package. This Beetle Sport model was powered by a 150hp 1.8T engine and a MSRP of $20,950.
