Inspired by the blossoming of flowers in spring, these special editions all sport a little stand on the dashboard for you to keep fresh flowers in your car. Interesting! In keeping with the colourful theme, they have designed the cars so that the interior and exterior all feature the same colour scheme. Hence, if you have bought a red car, you will get a red dash and red interior body too. It is surprisingly subtle, and not at all as gaudy as you would think. The Beetle Blossom will come in three colours – Pure White, Tornado Red and Blue Denim. In terms of specs, the car comes equipped with some impressive features like heated seats (driver’s seat/passenger seat), “Keyless Access”, Park Distance Control (front/rear), LED positioning lamps with bi-xenon headlights (with height control function) + auto light system, rain sensor, etc.
The Volkswagen limited edition Beetle Blossom launched in Japan on January 20th 2015. They made only 150 units of each of the three colours, a total of 450 units retailing at 2.85 million yen (approximately $24,000).
